A floor that’s second to none. The colour of Onyx flooring is the result of a smoking process. Fire combined with ammonia is a truly explosive mixture, just like the effect created by the boards when used to decorate your interior. Such deep dark colour will take your breath away, take you on a journey through time, hides secrets and does not tolerate compromises. The colour is a ‘heavy’ one, and therefore Onyx is mainly designed for use in interiors decorated in Art Deco style.

Color characteristics
Thanks to a special chemical treatment process, the boards turn very dark brown and black throughout their thickness. Visually, they resemble exotic species such as wenge wood. The floor can be finished with a transparent varnish. In the Natur grade, uniform colouring within one board. In the Rustical Premium grade, boards with visible honey stripes are permitted. It is white that contains tannin. This substance does not react with ammonia, which is used to chemically stain the board, hence the lighter streaks on the floor.

Characteristic
A beautiful wooden floor with a noble look and strong character. It owes its unusual dark colour to the process of smoking the wood with ammonia, which, although technologically difficult, gives an amazing effect in the form of warm honey-brown streaks and ensures greater durability of the wood. A perfect floor for bold arrangements with character, very exclusive, ideal for offices, studies, and higher standard interiors.
